Engine Survey

Engine Survey and/or Outdrive (OD) survey.  An engine survey is necessary to identify possible latent problems.  It is important to use only qualified Marine Engine Mechanics.

There is a difference between:

  • Gasoline driven
  • Diesel driven
  • Inboard driven
  • Inboard/Outboard (IB/OB) driven and
  • Outboard (OB) driven engines

I would suggest calling a mechanic who has experience with your system.

Not all mechanics know all systems.
